Prospect "Picks to Click"- NL East

Prospects Live March 19, 2026
Source

Part of being successful in dynasty leagues is being able to identify prospects who will gain value, and quickly. Most dynasty managers can look at a top prospect list and pick out a future star, but it takes some analysis, intuition, and luck in order to consistently pinpoint future major league contributors.

This week, our Dynasty Team will be highlighting one prospect from each team that they feel will jump in our rankings over the course of 2026. Not all of these players will be top 25 prospects, in fact some may not even crack our top 100. But if maximizing value is the name of the game in dynasty baseball, even a player rising the ranks should generate some buzz and a possible trade chip for your team.

PJ (@prspctvibecheck on X/Twitter) keeps us rolling with the National League East and five prospects he's targeting as picks to click in 2026!

When I first decided which prospects I wanted to write about for this article, it was around a week and a half ago, before Fuentes had truly set the Braves Camp ablaze. Fuentes has flown under the radar to some extent, despite a very poor MLB debut that drew the ire of Braves fans and some internet talking heads. Candidly, in his four starts, he got shelled. He gave up 20 runs in 13 innings. Put plainly, he was not ready for the majors, and it showed. But guess what, that makes sense. You know why? He was 20-years-old, and had only had 21 innings in Double-A (which in and of itself was rushing a promotion for a pitcher with 88 innings at Single-A or above), before an aggressive Triple-A promotion which was filed by a certifiably insane MLB promotion.

People seem to have forgotten that not all players immediately excel when pushed into the majors. In fact, it may often take young players multiple seasons to adjust and develop their game until they're at that point.Fuentes has taken the lessons from his poor MLB debut and converted them into an absolutely sensational Spring. So far, Fuentes has faced 27 hitters (equivalent to a full nine-inning game), struck out 17 (!!!) of them, and allowed zero hits. He's presently ranked #132 on the PLive Prospect ranks. He's already a T100 prospect in my book, and has been pushing to start 2026 on the Braves MLB roster--only partially due to the fact that the Braves have had their rotation decimated by injuries. His Spring Training almost certainly raised the price, but whatever the price is now, it's probably cheaper than it should be.
