"Pick to Click" Prospects - AL West

Prospects Live March 18, 2026
Source

Part of being successful in dynasty leagues is being able to identify prospects who will gain value, and quickly. Most dynasty managers can look at a top prospect list and pick out a future star, but it takes some analysis, intuition, and luck in order to consistently pinpoint future major league contributors.

This week, our Dynasty Team will be highlighting one prospect from each team that they feel will jump in our rankings over the course of 2026. Not all of these players will be top 25 prospects, in fact some may not even crack our top 100. But if maximizing value is the name of the game in dynasty baseball, even a player rising the ranks should generate some buzz and a possible trade chip for your team.

David (@dgofman.bsky.social) keeps us rolling with the American League West and five prospects he's targeting as picks to click in 2026!

Joshua Kuroda-Grauer SS (#447)

Kuroda-Grauer was a third-round pick out of Rutgers in the 2024 draft, and quietly had a very nice season for the A’s across High-A and Double-A in his first full season of pro ball in 2025. Kuroda-Grauer showed some of the best bat-to-ball skills in the minors, hitting .296 while striking out just 8.9% of the time in 2025. His high 80s percent contact rate was also extremely impressive, but he showed nearly no power, punching just two long balls in 121 games. Kuroda-Grauer flashed some speed as well, snagging 27 bases, and he carried his performance forward into the AFL, where he hit a robust .345 while stealing 7 bases over 18 games. It’s no surprise that Kuroda-Grauer is hitting for a strong average this spring (.333 over his first 20 plate appearances), but what’s particularly enticing is that he has a 107.1 max EV this spring, whereas his max EV at Triple-A in 2025, albeit in a small sample, was just 100.9 mph. The biggest barrier to Kuroda-Grauer getting to what power he does have is his tendency to hit the ball on the ground too often, but he is likely to be at Triple-A sooner rather than later, and his ability to steal bases and hit for a good average should generate some buzz when he does get the call.
