"Pick to Click" Prospects - AL East

Prospects Live March 16, 2026
Source

Part of being successful in dynasty leagues is being able to identify prospects who will gain value, and quickly. Most dynasty managers can look at a top prospect list and pick out a future star, but it takes some analysis, intuition, and luck in order to consistently pinpoint future major league contributors.

This week, our Dynasty Team will be highlighting one prospect from each team that they feel will jump in our rankings over the course of 2026. Not all of these players will be top 25 prospects, in fact some may not even crack our top 100. But if maximizing value is the name of the game in dynasty baseball, even a player rising the ranks should generate some buzz and a possible trade chip for your team.

Kyle (@sonny_108) will get us started with the American League East and five prospects he's targeting as picks to click in 2026!

A 20-year-old hitter making his way up to Double-A is impressive in itself, but a 20-year-old hitter putting up a 135 wRC+ and hitting .300 in his first 27 games at the level is even more impressive. After posting a .286 average between Single-A and High-A in 2024, and .284 in High-A in 2025, that sort of batting average is nothing new, but what was new in 2025 was the power production, specifically in Double-A, where Estrada doubled his HR total with five bombs in less than 30 games to fuel a .200 ISO at the level. As encouraging as the power surge was, that’s not what Estrada is known for. Our scouts give him just 40 grade power, but they’re much more optimistic about his hit tool and speed, as evidenced by the above-average 55s he received. This aligns with the fact that he’s stolen more than 30 bases in each of the past two seasons and has also made nearly 80% contact over that same span. That contact rate is especially impressive considering the aggressive approach that has seen him swinging at more than 50% of pitches throughout most of his minor league career. He may never hit more than 10-15 home runs, but he has already posted at least one EV above 110 mph this spring, which is a very encouraging sign. If he can tighten up the approach a little bit, he could continue to post great ratios with the ability for 30+ stolen bases. If he can do that, as a 21-year-old in the upper levels of the minors, he might force his way inside the top 100 before 2026 is over.
