A convertible vehicle roof is proposed, comprising a roof frame (12) that is adjustable between a closed position spanning a vehicle interior and a storage position in which the vehicle interior is opened toward the top and the roof frame (12) is stored in a rear storage compartment that can be closed by means of an adjustable storage compartment cover (14), which, with respect to a vertical roof longitudinal center plane, is provided on both sides each with a frame exit flap (84) that is adjustable between a downwardly folded passage position and an upwardly folded cover position, wherein the roof frame (12), with respect to the vertical roof longitudinal center plane, has on both sides each a frame arrangement (18) that is pivotably supported on a respective vehicle-fixed, single or multi-part main bearing (24). The storage compartment cover (14) comprises a base structure (70) and a cover plate (78) that is pivotable relative to the base structure (70), and the cover plate (78) and the frame exit flaps (84) are pivotable relative to the base structure (70) by means of a common drive motor (88).
