FOLDABLE TOP FOR CONVERTIBLE WITH JOINTLY PIVOTABLE ROOF ARMS

A convertible vehicle roof is proposed, comprising a roof frame that is adjustable between a closed position in which a vehicle interior is spanned by the roof, and a storage position in which the vehicle interior is released upward, and which, with respect to a vertical roof longitudinal center plane, has on each side respectively a linkage arrangement (18) that comprises a main multi-joint arrangement (22) with two main links (24, 26) pivotably mounted on a vehicle-fixed main bearing (20), a middle roof link (29), a front roof link (36) pivotably connected to the middle roof link (29) and a rear roof link (38) pivotably connected to the middle roof link (29). The front roof link (36) and the rear roof link (38) are jointly pivotable relative to the middle roof link (29) by means of a coupling rod (58), and the main multi-joint mechanism (22) is driven by a main drive that is arranged on the main bearing (20). The front roof link (36) and the rear roof link (38) are driven to pivot relative to the middle roof link (29) via a coupling device by means of the main drive.
