Lid for top storage compartment for convertible vehicle

A convertible top storage box cover (1) in a convertible vehicle with a vehicle roof adjustable between a closed position and a stowed position closes a storage space in which the vehicle roof can be stowed in its stowed position. The convertible top storage box cover (1) is automatically pivoted open or closed about a pivot axis (3) by means of a controllable hydraulic actuator (5) when the vehicle roof is moved between the closed and stowed positions. In addition to the hydraulic actuator (5), a force element (11) is provided that acts on the convertible top storage box cover (1) in its opening position.
