FUEL INJECTOR VALVE

DRIVE June 22, 2016
Source
A fuel injection valve (1) for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, in particular for direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprises a magnetic coil (10), an armature (20) acted upon by the magnetic coil (10) in a closing direction by a return spring (23), and a valve needle (3) in non-positive connection with the armature (20) for actuating a valve closing member (4), which together with a valve seat surface (6) forms a sealing seat. In a connecting sleeve (40) serving the inflow-side fuel supply (16), an adjustment element (50) for adjusting the spring force of a return spring (23) is arranged. The adjustment element (50) is bounded outwardly by a thin-walled sleeve (51), wherein in the wall of the sleeve (51) a filter region (62) with a plurality of through openings (63) is provided. Into the sleeve (51), on the inflow side, a disc-shaped throttle element (56) with a throttle bore (54) is inserted as an independent insert part.
