A fuel injection valve (1) for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, in particular for direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine, comprises a magnetic coil (10), an armature (20) acted upon by the magnetic coil (10) in a closing direction by a return spring (23), and a valve needle (3) in force-fitting connection with the armature (20) for actuating a valve closing member (4), which together with a valve seat surface (6) forms a sealing seat. An adjusting element (50) for adjusting the spring force of the return spring (23) is arranged in a connection sleeve (40) serving the inlet-side fuel supply (16). In addition to a press region (55) with which the adjusting element (50) is pressed into a metallic valve component (13), a further sealing region (57) is provided on the adjusting element (50), with which the adjusting element (50) is sealed relative to a further valve component (40).
