Device for lateral tarping/detarping of a bin, vehicle and bin therewith

The loading box (1) is equipped with a covering/uncovering device (2), which comprises a tarpaulin (20) attached to one (14) of the two side walls, and a rolling/unrolling bar (21) that is attached to the tarpaulin. The rolling/unrolling bar (21) can roll on the box in one direction or the other between the two side walls (13, 14) of the box, between a first position in which the tarpaulin (20) is wound around the rolling/unrolling bar (21) of the box, and a second position in which the tarpaulin (20) is unrolled and covers the upper opening. The rolling/unrolling bar (21) comprises a drive member (22) at each of its two ends (21 a, 21 b) not covered by the tarpaulin (20). The covering/uncovering device (2) comprises two drive rails (23, 24) which extend between the two side walls (13, 14) of the box, and which are able to be in friction contact with or to mesh respectively with the two drive members (22) of the rolling/unrolling bar, so as to allow during the displacement in one direction or the other of the rolling/unrolling bar (21) between the first position and the second position, the transformation of the rotation of the rolling/unrolling bar (21) into a rotational movement and a translational movement at each of the two ends (21 a, 21 b) of the rolling/unrolling bar.
