Water chamber for a motor vehicle

The water box (1) has a deflection chamber (2) that is provided with a top wall, a bottom wall with a water drain opening (9), an air inlet opening (10) in a front wall (5) and an air outlet opening (11) in a rear wall (6). A deflection element (12) is configured to deflect and release air flowing through water in the air inlet opening. The deflection element is extended from the top wall to the bottom wall. A flow opening (15) is formed in between the side walls (7,8) of the deflection chamber and side edge (13) of the deflection element. An independent claim is included for a motor vehicle.
