Water chamber for a motor vehicle

The chamber has a deflection chamber (2) comprising a ceiling wall, a bottom wall with a water drain aperture (9), an air inlet aperture (10) and an air outlet aperture (11). A deflection unit (12) deflects air loaded with water drops and extends from the ceiling wall to the bottom wall. The air inlet aperture is arranged in the ceiling wall, and the outlet aperture is arranged in the ceiling wall or in a rear wall (6). A flow opening (15) is formed between side walls (7, 8) of the deflecting chamber and a side edge (36) of the deflection unit. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle.
