Method and system for front/rear brake force distribution for a motor vehicle

The method involves detecting a logical condition having a straight line test verified when instantaneous lateral acceleration of a vehicle is lower than threshold acceleration. A lower braking force determined from a braking force desired by the driver is corrected to calculate a corrected lower braking force greater than the lower braking force. The corrected force is applied as a target braking force to rear wheels (4, 5). Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a braking software having instructions stored on a medium and executed by a host computer to implement a vehicle braking method (B) a vehicle having a braking system with a programmable braking controller to implement a braking method.
