Sealing strips, in particular for automotive vehicles

The sealing strip, comprising clamping (1) and sealing (2) sections with the latter made from an elastomer or plastomer material and designed to be fixed to a projecting metal edge, has the surfaces of the clamping section or other part that risk making contact with the projecting metal coated with a thin (about 0.5 - 1 mm) layer of an electrically insulating material that has mechanical properties different from those of the clamping section and an electrical resistance of at least 106 Ohm/cm.
