Metallic insert band for trimming and sealing strips

The metal strip has wedge-shaped slots (1) arranged along the edge (2) of the metal strip edge running inwardly along with at least two central slots (3) which are arranged transversely to the longitudinal direction (I) of the metal strip. The metal strip is inserted in decorative or sealing strips that are made of flexible material e.g. plastic or rubber.
