The supporting and centering device for a spring plate (11), especially for a motor vehicle, has a truncated cone-shaped holder (3) on a support element (1) and in which is fitted a truncated cone-shaped protrusion (15) on the spring plate upon which is supported a spring element (12). The truncated cone-shaped holder is formed by a separate component (2) which is connected fixed or detachably to the support element. The spring element is supported on the spring plate axially away from the truncated cone-shaped protrusion.
