Use of an adhesive to bond a device to a wheel, the device-wheel system, the device and the wheel

The procedure for fixing a component weight 15-90 g, such as a pressure sensor, to the inner surface channel of a vehicle wheel (12) rim inside a pneumatic tyre (14) uses an adhesive with a tensile stress greater than 0.5 MPa at 80[deg]C, containing at least one polymer ingredient with a vitreous transition temperature below -50[deg]C and at least one other polymer ingredient with a vitreous transition temperature above 100[deg]C. The adhesive is allowed to set for a period of 45-55 s before the tyre is fitted to the wheel.
