Method for controlling turbo-charged internal-combustion engine

The method involves performing scavenging of waste gas from a cylinder, in admission phase, in a valve intersection phase in which an exhaust valve (20 1) and an inlet valve (14 1) are simultaneously opened. Opening of an exhaust valve (20 3) of a cylinder in exhaust phase is controlled, during a part of the intersection phase, in a manner that exhaust pressure of the cylinder in admission phase is lower than its inlet pressure. An independent claim is also included for a supercharged internal combustion engine.
