The method involves controlling closing of intake valve during scavenging stage which affects pressure inside chamber. During closing of intake valve, the exhaust pressure is lessened, generating a pressure difference with respect to intake pressure. The intake valve opens/closes following at least one sequence, during the scavenging stage of diesel type engine.
