DRIVE
April 28, 2004
First parameter (omega ) representing instantaneous engine speed, second parameter (O2) correlated to instantaneous quantity of oxygen present in combustion chamber of engine, and third parameter (rho ) correlated to instantaneous injection pressure of fuel are determined. A signal (F) representing actual admissible fuel supply or actual admissible air-fuel ratio is [provided based on the determined parameters. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device for controlling black smoke in diesel engine; (b) a computer program adapted to perform method of controlling black smoke in diesel engine; and (c) a computer readable medium storing program adapted top perform method of controlling black smoke in diesel engine.
