The device has a housing with an electric motor actuator drive with a locking bolt (2) and a latch space with an upper opening for accommodating a latch protruding from the tank flap. The bolt can be deployed by a drive spring into the latch space and retracted by the electric motor. A sprung ejector is arranged in the space below the path of the bolt. The ejector can be deployed into the path of the bolt.
