Vehicle headlamp comprising a pivoting elliptical reflector and a fixed lens capable of generating a cornering beam
DRIVE
October 1, 2003
The headlamp (18) has an elliptical reflector (20), a light source (22) and a converging lens (26). Both reflector and light source can rotate, producing a mobile optical axis (D-D) relative to the vehicle longitudinal axis (B-B). The lens is fixed and has a lateral region (30) in the angular sector scanned by the mobile optical axis. The rotation is linked to the steering wheel rotation.
