A vehicle headlamp includes: a lamp outer casing (4); a lamp unit having: a light source unit (12) including: a light source (43) emits light; a reflector (42); and a heat sink (41); a stationary frame (9); a movable frame (8) that is supported by the stationary frame to be rotatable about a rotating shaft; a lens unit (7) supported by the movable frame (8) and having a projection lens (14); a first aiming operation shaft (10) that adjusts an optical axis in the lateral direction; and a second aiming operation shaft (11) that adjusts the optical axis in the vertical direction. A focal point (F) of the light reflected by the reflector is coincident with a center of the rotating shaft. The lens unit (7) is moved relative to the stationary frame (9) such that a distance between the focal point and the projection lens is constant. The heat sink (41) is positioned on the outside of the lamp outer casing.
