The arrangement has low and high pressure systems. The high pressure system has a high pressure pump (16) followed at least one high pressure injection valve (20). The low pressure system has a demand-driven fuel pump (12) connected to the high pressure pump via a fuel line (14) forming part of the low pressure system with a choke non-return valve (42) with a smaller opening cross-section that n the fuel line.
