Fuel system for an internal combustion engine
DRIVE
July 18, 2001
The system has individual injection pumps for individual cylinders with first and second fuel line connectors opening into the pump high pressure chamber and directly connected together independently of the fuel feeds. Each pump has at least one fuel line connector connected via a fuel line connecting the individual injection pumps of a row of cylinders. The second fuel line connector is connected via a further line to a third connector. The system has individual injection pumps associated with individual cylinders and each with first and second fuel line connectors opening into the pump high pressure chamber diametrically oppositely and directly connected together independently of the fuel feeds. Each pump has at least one fuel line connector connected via a fuel line connecting the individual injection pumps of a row of cylinders. The second fuel line connector (7b) is connected via a further line connection (16b,16c) to a third fuel line connector (7c).
