Assembly comprising an airbag

The sub-assembly comprises a motor vehicle's door(10), A-pillar(12) and inflatable airtight airbag(14). The airbag when inflated is supported on the door and in the region of the A-pillar, and the internal overpressure in at least one section of the inflated airbag lies above 1 bar. The door has an elbow place(16) along the greater part of which is supported the airbag.
