Inflatable assembly

The inflatable unit (1) for a seat, in particular, a motor vehicle seat comprises at least one chamber with a cover (4), a foam material (6) and a strengthening element (5). The latter has at least one depression which accommodates at least some of the foam material when the unit is not inflated. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle with the proposed inflatable unit.
