DRIVE
September 19, 2001
The method involves setting a value corresponding to the quantity of fuel injected into the engine depending on at least one engine operating parameter. The characteristics of the regular/controller are influenced using a first parameter characteristic of the effect of the injected quantity of fuel, e.g. the ratio of the change in fuel quantity parameter and the resulting change in a second parameter corresponding to the engine torque. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for controlling an internal combustion engine.
