Method and device for controlling an internal combustion engine

The method involves defining a control duration (110) for a quantity determining control element starting with a fuel quantity. The control duration is corrected depending on a parameter that characterizes the pressure in a control chamber. A time parameter characteristic of the injected fuel quantity is defined starting with the variation of the parameter. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for controlling an internal combustion engine.
