Locked out of Codex because of an old phone number?

@OpenAI_Support I’m still experiencing this issue.

I contacted OpenAI Support as instructed, but it has not been resolved. Support said they cannot modify, remove, or bypass phone-number verification.

This appears to be the same Codex-specific issue reported here: I can access ChatGPT, my email, Google Authenticator 2FA, and my API Platform account normally, but Codex still requires SMS verification to an old phone number I no longer have.

I’m also a ChatGPT Pro subscriber with 5x Codex access and currently cannot use Codex.
