Well, it's our last day in Omaha, and we had quite the game to end our run in the Mecca of college baseball. We got stellar pitching performances from three starters today, as well as many many big names having the standout days we expected entering the trip. Also, we had our second team eliminated of the week after putting up two historically bad performances on the big stage, while Texas lived to see another day behind the third cycle ever recorded in the CWS at the hands of sophomore star Adrian Rodriguez.

That said, these are our biggest takeaways and most impressive performers from another thrilling day of the College World Series:

Texas 14, Alabama 2

The Alabama Crimson Tide were eliminated from the 2026 season on Monday afternoon, and they went out with quite the whimper. There were talks about Zane Adams potentially tipping his pitches and giving Texas an edge, but the Longhorn bats were so hot today that we’re not sure it would’ve even mattered.
