Live Looks: 2026 College World Series Day 2

Well, today's games weren't as flashy and down to the wire as yesterday's, but we still got some fun performances. Personally, if you're offering us a trade of a close game for a 15-strikeout complete-game performance, we'll accept that.

From Joey Volchko to Cord Rager to UGA's power bats, there was lots to like today in Omaha. Here's our biggest takeaways and standout performers from the second day of the College World Series:

Oklahoma 9, Alabama 0

The first of what ended up being two one-sided games on Saturday featured two SEC teams who had very different paths to Omaha.
