The Clemson Tigers evened their series versus Florida State with a comeback 4-3 win. Jarren Purify got the rally started with a 2-run homer in the 4th, which left the bat at 99 mph. It’s only Purify’s 4th homer of the season, but the young-for-the-class JR has done a great job limiting K’s and has great speed. He should be an early Day 2 pick if he elects to go pro. Brody DeLamielleur makes the sheet again with a homer in back-to-back games, pushing his total to 7 on the season. BDL is still whiffing and chasing at red flag rates, but the power is real, and he’ll likely return to Tallahassee next season to reign terror on ACC arms. A crucial rubber match for the Seminoles is tomorrow.
