Bayram Hot was busy trotting around the basepaths as he swiped 2 bringing his season total up to 15. Meanwhile Jimmy Nugent was Just What the Doctor Ordered (I hope someone gets this reference) for the Cardinals offense going 3-4 with a homerun and 2 RBI. Nugent extended his hit streak to 6 and added his 4th homerun on the year.

If you are going to beat your rival you might as well beat them down. The Tar Heels absolutely smacked the Duke Blue Devils around scoring 22 runs. The 1,2,3 guys in the lineup went a combined 10-14 with 10 runs scored, 13 runs batted in, 2 doubles, a triple, a homerun, and 2 SB. Also of note, Duke beaned 5 hitters including Cooper Nicholson twice. Ouch!
