Drew Burress and Vahn Lackey, projected top 10 picks in the upcoming MLB Draft, along with Jarren Advincula and Kent Schmidt provided all the offense in the Yellow Jackets 6-4 win vs NC State, combining for 11 hits in 19 at bats as well as 5 of the 6 RBI and R's Georgia Tech produced on the day. The difference in the game came flying off of Drew Burress' bat in the bottom of the 8th in a 2-2 count with one out and a man on second, as he rocketed a go ahead 3B off the fence out in LCF, Burress continuing to make the case for a top 3 selection in the Draft.
