C Vahn Lackey got a day off from the tools of ignorance and he made sure to make it count, the projected top 10 MLB Draft pick putting his name on the daily sheet for the second time this weekend, this time for a 2-3 day at the plate, including a towering 443ft HR to left field, and a leadoff 2B to open the 6th, igniting a 4-run inning for GT. The #3 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets continue to swing hot bats, completing the sweep over #14 NC State in a 10-0 route of the Wolfpack in 8 innings.
