Tar Heel 1B Erik Paulsen continues to slug. Leading this offense with a 1.131 OPS and slugging .638 on the year, he added another homer yesterday with 3 multi-hit games vs Cal. Unranked here at Prospects Live and deep down the board for most places entering the season. You could argue that very few players in the country have helped their stock more than the Stony Brook transfer. He's been barreling the baseball with a lofted swing that has seen him hit some loud moon shots!

Macon Winslow, DH North Carolina (Atlantic Coast)

2-for-4, HR, 2B, R, 3 RBI, BB, 2 K

Macon Winslow had himself a day yesterday, powering this Heels offense from the cleanup spot as the DH in Sunday's game. Winslow is forming a one-two punch in the middle of the lineup with Paulsen, and the lefty-to-righty look is hard to navigate for teams. With a whippy one-handed finish, he can drive the baseball in the gap for doubles, and he hit his third home run of the season yesterday.
