Covered by: Joshua Salguero

AJ Gracia, CF Virginia (Atlantic Coast)

2-for-4, HR, R, RBI, BB, K

💣💣 Sam Harris, 1B Virginia (Atlantic Coast)

2-for-4, 2 HR, 2 R, 3 RBI, BB, 2 K

It wasn’t quite the exact same game as last night but the score ended up very similar as the Cavaliers took the series. Just like the score, AJ Gracia had nearly the exact same line with the exception of one less RBI.He hit yet another home run as he continues to make his case for a top ten pick. This homer was even more of a laser than the one he hit yesterday, leaving the bat at 107 mph and going for 370 ft. Sam Harris continues to provide that extra thump in the lineup, blasting two dongs and placing him one shy of Gracia for the team lead. Adding to the eerie similarities, both of Harris’s home runs went exactly 372’, left the bat at 101 mph, and had a launch angle of 37°. His OPS now soars up to 1.211 as Harris keeps terrorizing pitchers in the month of March.

Ty Mainolfi, 2B Boston College (Atlantic Coast)

1-for-4, HR, 2 R, 3 RBI, BB

Colin Larson, CF Boston College (Atlantic Coast)

3-for-4, 3B, R, 4 RBI

After getting blanked by Ryan Marohn, BC pounced on the Pack’s second ace in Jacob Dudan, scoring four off of him and seven off the ensuing bullpen arms. Leading the way were Ty Mainolfi and Colin Larson, who combined to drive in over the half runs scored on the day. Mainolfi made a loud impression with his first home run of the year, smashing the ball at 109 mph off the bat. The sophomore’s enjoying a good season and has been a great 1-2 punch at the top of the lineup with Julio Soler. Colin Larson, meanwhile, had struggled immensely up until this week. Before March 10th, Larson had just three hits on the year and was dangerously close to a sub .100 batting average. In the three games since, he’s gotten five hits, his first home run, and six RBIs, bringing his average to a safer .235.
