Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Finish the Speedrun Crash Course Quest
The Speedrun Crash Course quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley picks up right after you find Hercules near the end of Moonlighting as a Hero. A massive storm blocks the path to Olympus, and the only way across is a pair of winged boots blessed by Hermes, the god of travel. Earning that blessing means gathering materials, cooking a feast, and clearing a timed obstacle course before you can teleport to the temple.

Quick answer: Collect 5 Pegasus Feathers and the Winged Boots in the dark woods, place them on the Hermes Pedestal, cook a Legendary Meal from 5 special ingredients, equip the blessed Winged Boots, finish the Hermes obstacle course, then use the sparkling Hermes travel spot at the cliff to cross the storm.

Start the Speedrun Crash Course quest
After your chat with Hercules wraps up the previous quest, he runs off to find Phil. Head back into the dark woods to meet the pair again, then talk to Phil to begin. He decides the group should win Hermes' favor by crafting flying shoes, which sets your first objectives.
Note: You need to have completed Moonlighting as a Hero and unlocked the Hercules Realm first. This quest is the second step in the chain that eventually unlocks Hercules and Phil as villagers.
Collect 5 Pegasus Feathers and the Winged Boots
Step 1: Hunt down five Pegasus Feathers floating around the dark woods. They show up as small golden sparkles, so look for the shimmer, chase them, and press the prompt next to "Pick Up" to grab each one. They drift quickly, so move fast.
💨
Tip: Eat a meal to fill your energy bar so you can glide. The extra speed makes catching the feathers much easier.
Step 2: Find the marble pile holding the Winged Boots on the left side of Phil, deeper in the woods. Several marble piles dot the area, but only one has the boots sticking out of it, often near the back of the woods by two leaning stone pillars. Equip your Royal Pickaxe and break it open to free the boots.
Step 3: Return to Phil with all five feathers and the boots, then follow him to the Arena where you ran the earlier obstacle course.

Place the offering on the Hermes Pedestal
Inside the Arena, find the sparkling pedestal marked with a wing logo, sitting right behind Hercules. Interact with it to set down the Winged Boots and Pegasus Feathers as an offering. Nothing happens at first, so talk to Hercules nearby. He suggests Hermes wants something more, which leads to cooking a feast.

Gather all 5 Legendary Ingredients
Everything you need is scattered around Hercules' realm. Collect all five before heading to a cooking station.
| Ingredient | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Aegean Delights | Fish the pond at the bottom of the grand waterfall near the Realm entrance, the same spot where you caught the Moon Headband. |
| Legendary Goldfish | Fish from the same pond as the Aegean Delights. |
| Greek Cheeses | On the ground behind a mineable rock on the right after entering the side of the woods where you found Hercules. Regular Cheese sits nearby, so grab the correct one. |
| Greek Fruits and Veggies | On the ground next to a long lounge chair in the dark woods. |
| Giant Lettuce | On the ground close to the same lounge chair as the Greek Fruits and Veggies. |

Cook the Legendary Meal for Hermes
Step 1: Go to the fire pit near the Arena entrance. If Hephaestus Coals are blocking it, equip your Royal Shovel and clear them away.
Step 2: Toss in all five ingredients to make the Legendary Meal, then carry it back to the Hermes Pedestal where you left the boots and feathers.
Step 3: Make the offering. This time it works. Grab and equip the blessed Winged Boots from the pedestal to continue.

Clear the Hermes obstacle course
With the boots equipped, interact with the start line to the left of the Hermes Pedestal to begin the timed course. You have five minutes, which is plenty for the run.
The course revolves around pushing a box into position. Push it forward, then left, then push it again, working around the obstacles from the left side. Avoid the traps as you move ahead, give the box a final push between two staircases, then climb the stairs and use the box as a platform to reach the finish. Collecting feathers along the way is optional.

Travel through the storm to the temple
The blessed boots unlock fast-travel teleport points. After the course, interact with the sparkling wing symbol on the ground to warp back to the dark woods, then talk to Hercules.
Walk to the cliff edge just outside the woods, the same spot where you first met Hercules, and interact with the sparkling Hermes travel point to teleport straight through the storm. Hercules and Phil follow you across.

How to confirm the quest is complete
Once you reach the far side, talk to Hercules to assess the situation. The moment that conversation ends, Speedrun Crash Course closes out, and the Thunderstruck quest begins automatically. That handoff is your confirmation, and it moves you one step closer to recruiting Hercules and Phil into your valley.
