How to Complete Thunderstruck in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The Thunderstruck quest picks up at the Olympus temple inside the Hercules Realm, where a blocked gate and a scrambled Zeus crest stand between you and Hercules. Finishing it means solving a lever puzzle, gathering forge materials, crafting the Golden Bracers, and clearing the rocks at the temple entrance. It is one of the required steps toward unlocking Hercules and Phil.
Quick answer: Pull the left lever three times, the middle lever twice, and the right lever once to align the Zeus crest. Then collect 6 Hephaestus Coals, 10 Orichalcum Ore, and 10 Greek Marble Fragments, forge the Golden Bracers, learn dad jokes from Scrooge McDuck, Goofy, and Merlin, and use your electrified pickaxe to break the gate.

Align the Zeus crest with the chain levers
The quest opens on a jumbled Zeus crest surrounded by three chain levers. Each lever rotates a ring, and you need to line all three rings back into the correct pattern before the mechanism activates. The setup works like the rotating puzzles found around Storybook Vale, so the goal is matching positions rather than timing.
Use the following sequence to solve it on the first try.
Step 1: Interact with the left lever three times.
Step 2: Interact with the middle lever two times.
Step 3: Interact with the right lever one time.
Once the crest snaps into place, walk to the center and pick up the item resting there. Speak with Hercules nearby, and the two of you will identify it as a mold for the Bracers. He hands you the Stone Bracers Mold, which you will need at the crafting station later.

Gather the forge materials in the Hercules Realm
Forging the Bracers requires three raw materials, all harvested with your Royal Tools across the Realm. There is more than enough of each scattered around, so you do not have to hit every node you find. The table below lists the totals and where each one appears.

The Stone Bracers Mold is already in your inventory from talking to Hercules at the crest, so you do not need to craft or find it separately.

Forge the Golden Bracers and make an offering
With every material in hand, return to the temple entrance and open the crafting station next to the crest.
Step 1: Open the crafting menu and select the Hercules quest icon to craft the Golden Bracers.
Step 2: Interact with the Zeus Pedestal beside Hercules to place the Golden Bracers as an offering.
As with the offerings to Artemis and Hermes earlier in the questline, nothing happens at first. Zeus needs to be in a better mood before he will strike the Bracers with lightning, which leads to the next task.

Collect dad jokes from Scrooge McDuck, Goofy, and Merlin
To get Zeus to laugh, head back to the main valley through the sparkling Realm exit behind Phil. You need to gather a joke from three specific villagers, and talking to just one will not work. Speak with all three before returning.
Step 1: Talk to Scrooge McDuck to learn his joke.
Step 2: Talk to Goofy for his joke.
Step 3: Talk to Merlin for the third joke.
Return to the Hercules Realm and speak with Hercules outside the temple. Pick your favorite of the three jokes to share. Zeus laughs, then strikes the Golden Bracers with lightning. Pick them up and equip them to continue.

Break the rocks and lock at the temple gate
Equipping the Golden Bracers electrifies your Royal Pickaxe, which lets you smash the purple rocks blocking the entrance. Two rocks sit in front of the gate, and each one takes two swings to break. After both are gone, swing at the lock on the front gate to open it. You may need more than one hit.
Step inside the temple and speak with Phil and Hercules. The moment you finish the conversation, Thunderstruck is marked complete and the A Real Godly Mess quest begins automatically, where you reassemble the mural inside.

You will know Thunderstruck is done when the dialogue with Phil and Hercules ends and A Real Godly Mess takes over without you needing to start it manually.
From here, finishing A Real Godly Mess restores the temple mosaic and brings the gods back to peace, clearing the way to invite Hercules and then Phil into your valley.
