Jon Favreau’s “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit” Series Snags “Klaus” Studio The SPA Studios For Traditional Animation Services.

During the PR tour for “** The Mandalorian And Grogu** ” in Spain, Jon Favreau sat down with Spanish news site Moobys to discuss the new film as well upcoming projects.

During the interview Favreau confirmed that Spanish animation studio The SPA Studios mostly know for The Academy nominated film “Klaus” is set to be one of the animation studios handling the traditional animation services for the upcoming “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit ” live-action/animated hybrid series.

“It’s being animated here in Spain at SPA Studios. So i came here to visit the animation studio; All 2D animation by artists, real artist, it’s a beautiful story”- Favreau

Favreau also confirmed that the series will premiere in 2027 on Disney+ of course as a tie-in for the upcoming 100 anniversary of the character.
