Jon Favreau Reveals More On “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit” Series With Los Angeles, Canada And Spain Being The Countries That Are Handling The Series 2D Animation.

Jon Favreau recently headlined CinemaCon’s Creative Community Luncheon ahead of Walt Disney Studios’ presentation at Las Vegas Convention.

The lunch had a Q&A with Favreau discussing his career and during the event Favreau discussed the upcoming live-action/animated hybrid series based on “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit ” during the meeting Favreau confirmed that the series traditional animation is being handled by different animation studios working remotely across Los Angeles, Canada, and Spain.

Jon Favreau talked about the difference between working on Oswald The Lucky Rabbit compared to his work on Marvel, and Star Wars.

“It’s an opportunity to explore a character with genuine historical weight who remains largely unknown to modern audiences. It’s a character that is established, but people don’t know that well, positioning it as a different kind of challenge than working within the well-mapped expectations of Star Wars or Marvel — a chance to build new real estate rather than tend existing territory ” – Favreau
