Jon Favreau Teases “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit” At Cinemacon, 2026

Jon Favreau recently headlined CinemaCon’s Creative Community Luncheon ahead of Walt Disney Studios’ presentation at Las Vegas Convention.

The lunch had a Q&A with Favreau discussing his career and during the event Favreau discussed the upcoming live-action/animated hybrid series based on “Oswald The Lucky Rabbit ” which recently wrapped additional filming at Disneyland back in March, 2026 with a scene of Oswald being near the iconic Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue in front of the Sleeping Beauty castle.

Favreau has mentioned that it’s one of his current priorities now that “The Mandalorian And Grogu” wrapped production which is set for a May release on theaters meaning that we could be seeing more mentions on “Oswald” during the PR tour of the new Star Wars film.
