METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A TYRE PRESSURE CONTROL SYSTEM OF AN AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE

Method for controlling a tire pressure control system (28) of an agricultural vehicle combination (10) with an agricultural tractor (12) and an attached trailed work implement (14), in which a control unit (26) causes an increase or a reduction of a tire inflation pressure present in air-filled tires (30, 32, 34) of the agricultural tractor (12) and/or of the work implement (14) by controlling the tire pressure control system (28) in the event that the control unit (26) detects, by evaluating data indicating a current operating status of the work implement (14), that a switchover from field operation to road operation or a switchover from road operation to field operation is imminent.
