METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OPERATING A HYBRID VEHICLE
DRIVE
March 15, 2017
The invention relates to a method for operating a motor vehicle which is driven by a hybridized drive train comprising an internal combustion engine charged by an exhaust gas turbocharger and an electrical machine supplied by an electrical energy store. The invention relates in particular to such a method in order to avoid delayed acceleration of the exhaust gas turbocharger (so-called turbo lag). The method comprises determining at least one location on a road section ahead of the vehicle where a positive load jump at the internal combustion engine is expected to occur, wherein the at least one location is determined as a function of route data of the road section ahead (S1); and carrying out a load point increase of the internal combustion engine before reaching the at least one location in order to at least partially reduce delayed acceleration of the exhaust gas turbocharger during the load jump (S3, S4).
