The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing multilayered molded articles, in particular interior trim parts for vehicles, in which a foamed plastic (25) is applied to a rear side of a facing material (14-1, 14-2), wherein first a self-supporting barrier layer (11) is produced which is impermeable to the foamed plastic (25). By applying and fixing the facing material with at least a portion of its rear side onto the self-supporting barrier layer (11), a pre-bond (17) is formed between the barrier layer (11) and the facing material (14-1, 14-2) prior to introduction into the foaming tool (20). Thus, slippage of the facing material during the back-foaming is effectively prevented.
