TANK SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE

A tank system (1) for a vehicle comprises a tank (2) for operating fluids, which has a generally cylindrical shell (3) with a shell axis (A), a housing (18) that at least partially accommodates at least one fitting (15, 16) connected to the tank (2) and is at least partially located in a corner space (21a, 21b, 21c, 21d) that is enclosed between the shell (3) and the smallest possible imaginary cuboid (22) circumscribing the shell (3), and at least one mounting bracket (6, 7) that can be mounted on the vehicle, on which the tank can be tightened by means of a strap (10), wherein the strap (10) is routed over the housing (18) when the tank (2) is in the tightened state.
