Tank system (1) for a vehicle, with a tank (2) for operating fluids, which has a generally cylindrical shell (3) with a shell axis (A) and two end caps (4, 5), which each attach to opposite end faces (S) of the shell (3), and at least one support bracket (6, 7) which can be mounted on the vehicle and which supports the tank (2) at one of the end caps (4, 5).
