The invention relates to a headrest (1) comprising: a frame (2) made of bent metal tube in a generally inverted U-shape; a block (5) of flexible foam padding overmolded on the upper part of said frame; a covering cap (6) of said block; a case (8) mounted on said frame between the branches (3), said block overmolding said case; a damping weight (9) for damping vibrations of said headrest during rolling, said weight being disposed in said case, said case being made from a sheet of flexible material, said case being provided with an upper attachment loop (10) shaped to surround the spacer (4), two respective elastic lateral attachment loops (11) are associated with said case, each of said loops respectively surrounding each of said branches.
