HEADREST FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE SEAT

The invention concerns a headrest (1) for an automobile vehicle seat, said headrest comprising: a mounting frame (2) on a backrest of said seat; a structure (4) for mounting a loudspeaker (5), said structure being associated in the upper part of said frame; said loudspeaker associated with said structure; a molded block (6) of elastically compressible foam padding covering said structure, said block being provided with an orifice (7) opening onto said loudspeaker and defining a conduit intended to allow the propagation of sound waves emitted by said loudspeaker; and a covering cap (8) of said block, said cap being formed of a plurality of flexible covering elements (9,9a) associated with each other, one of said elements (9a) being shaped in such a manner as to present: a tubular wall (11) covering said conduit, so that said element allows guidance of the sound waves; a porous conduit bottom wall (12) intended to provide protection of said loudspeaker while allowing the passage of sound waves.
