METHOD AND DEVICE FOR NAVIGATING TO A DESTINATION

The invention relates to a method for navigation to a destination, wherein navigation guidance instructions are output on a display (1) in a two-dimensional map representation or in a map-free representation depending on the current position and the destination. The last navigation guidance instructions before the destination are automatically output in a three-dimensional map representation. The invention further relates to a device for navigation to a destination comprising a display (1), a position determination device (2), and a controller (3) that is configured to output navigation guidance instructions on the display (1) in a two-dimensional map representation or in a map-free representation depending on the current position and the destination. The controller (3) is configured to automatically output the last navigation guidance instructions before the destination in a three-dimensional map representation.
